About the Role

Sanitation Truck Driver I The Sanitation Truck Driver I performs routine and skilled work in the operation of sanitation

vehicles and equipment used in the collection and transportation of solid waste, recyclables, yard debris, and other

refuse. This position is responsible for safely operating a sanitation truck along designated routes, ensuring timely

and efficient waste collection, and performing basic maintenance checks on vehicles. Work is performed under general

supervision and in accordance with established safety procedures and departmental guidelines. This role may also involve

assisting with loading waste materials and interacting with the public in a courteous and professional manner. Essential
