classified service ** The Transportation Worker 2 Mechanic in this position is assigned to the District Nine Equipment
Shop and will report to the Lookout Fayette County Substation. The selected employee, under general supervision,
performs full level repairs and preventative maintenance on transportation vehicles and all types of highway equipment
in need of repair. Will perform minor overhaul of gasoline or diesel-powered equipment engines. Performs vehicle
diagnostics and troubleshooting for repairs. This would include but not be limited to the replacement of motors, belts,
